🔷 This course provides an in-depth exploration of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness-based, evidence-supported psychotherapy model. Participants will learn the theoretical foundations, core principles, and practical applications of ACT.
Course Objectives:
1. Understand the theoretical foundations of ACT, including Relational Frame Theory (RFT) and Functional Contextualism.
2. Identify and apply the six core components of ACT: Acceptance, Cognitive Defusion, Being Present, Self-as-Context, Values, and Committed Action.
3. Develop skills in using ACT techniques, such as mindfulness, values-based action, and psychological flexibility.
4. Apply ACT principles to various mental health issues.
